Vijayawada, Aug. 6 -- Andhra Pradesh has witnessed a sharp rise in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) under the Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP government, according to official data shared by the union Government in Parliament.
Replying to a question raised by YSRCP MP Maddila Gurumoorthy in the Lok Sabha, the Centre said Andhra Pradesh received USD 608.59 million in FDI in FY 2025-26, compared to just USD 92.13 million in FY 2023-24*, the last full financial year of the YSRCP government. This marks an increase of more than six times in less than two years.
