Hyderabad, July 26 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Medical, Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Y Satya Kumar Yadav on Sunday visited the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute (BIACH&RI) here and assured all possible support for the treatment of a six-year-old girl battling cancer.
The child, Sasani Chandrika, daughter of Anjaneyulu and Vijayamma from Mulakalacheruvu in Annamayya district, has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumour below her eye. Following the death of her father, her mother had appealed through the media for financial assistance to save her daughter.
