Vijayawada, April 30 -- The Andhra Pradesh government has released Rs 2,720.67 crore for the disbursement of social security pension across the state on May 1.
Arrangements have been finalized to deliver the pensions directly to the doorsteps of beneficiaries in villages, wards, and urban areas under NTR Bharosa social security pension scheme.
Additionally, Rs 4.15 crore has been released for 8,141 beneficiaries under the newly sanctioned spouse pensions, which are scheduled to be distributed on May 1.
