Vijayawada, March 6 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said his government is examining a proposal for banning social media for children below 13 years to protect them from its adverse effects.
Speaking in the Assembly on Friday, the Chief Minister said that guidelines regarding this would be announced within 90 days.
He informed that IT Minister Nara Lokesh has studied the issue of social media misuse and excessive exposure to make certain recommendations.
