Vijayawada, Sept. 24 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary G Sai Prasad here on Thursday unveiled the World Heart Day 2026 poster of Kurnool Heart Foundation (KHF) highlighting the need for greater public awareness, prevention and early detection of cardiovascular diseases.
Kurnool Heart Foundation was established in September 2002, when Chief Secretary Prasad was the District Collector of Kurnool, as its Founder President, and Prof. Pulala Chandrasekhar as its Founder Secretary.
Since 2003, Kurnool Heart Foundation has been regularly observing World Heart Day, carrying forward a sustained campaign to promote preventive cardiology and public awareness about heart disease.
