Guntur, Feb. 26 -- The Guntur Mobile court on Thursday issued an arrest warrant against Bihar cadre IPS officer IGP M Sunil Kumar Naik in connection with the alleged custodial torture of the then YSRCP MP K Raghu Ramakrishna Raju. The MP was allegedly tortured in CID police custody during the erstwhile YSRCP regimeThe AP police served notices to IGP Sunil Kumar Naik to appear before them in the custodial torture case but he did not. When the AP police went to Bihar to arrest him, the Patna court refused to grant a transit warrant.

However, the AP police approached the court here which issued an arrest warrant.
