Vijayawada, May 20 -- In a major urban road safety and mobility reform initiative, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched a statewide programme for implementation of standardized road lane markings, kerb painting and scientific traffic signages across all 123 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the State.
Principal Secretary, UD Department, S Suresh Kumar on Tuesday issued comprehensive directions to the Commissioner, Director of Municipal Administration (CDMA) and Engineer-in-Chief, PHMED for immediate implementation of the programme using available municipal general funds and road maintenance grants.
