Vijayawada, Nov. 11 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NChandrababu Naidu on Monday directed officials to prepare an action plan for the development of Visakha Economic Region, covering from Srikakulam to Konaseema. He also asked the officials to formulate necessary policies to attract investments in the Visakha Economic Region.
The Chief Minister conducted a review meeting at the Secretariat at Amaravati near here. Speaking on the occasion, he said the Visakha Economic Region would become a growth hub for the State.
Naidu told the officials to give priority to improve cargo handling right from Mulapet port in Srikakulam to Kakinada port as the ports serve as cargo handling centres for Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradeshand Maharashtra, ad...
