Vijayawada, Sept. 10 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, addresing district collectors, said that AP has achieved 13.44 per cent growth rate in Quarter I, which is the highest in India, and is targeting 15 to 20 per cent growth rate.

Addressing the Eighth District Collectors Conference at the secretariat at Amaravati near here on Thursday, the CM reiterated that the Polavaram irrigation project, across the river Godavari, would be dedicated to the nation by March next year.

The CM asked district Collectors to be proactive and develop leadership qualities to achieve the result-oriented targets. He said that Collectors should adopt hybrid models in new age governance to win the confidence of people.
