Visakhapatnam, July 18 -- Describing the public stripping and assault of a woman in Guntur as a shameful and inhuman act that has disgraced society, YSRCP Women's Wing State President and MLC Varudu Kalyani demanded the immediate resignation of Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha and a public apology from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to the women of Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the media here on Saturday, she said the Guntur incident reflects the "complete collapse of law and order" and threat to women's safety under the TDP-led coalition government.
