Guntur, July 18 -- In a shocking incident, a woman was stripped and beaten in full public glare by a transgender at Krishnababu colony in this coastal town allegedly at the behest of a Telugu Desam party functionary. Though the incident took place on the night of July 15, it came to light through social media only on Saturday.
A dispute had broken out between two families on drawing water from the public tap. An altercation took place between the victim and TDP 21 division secretary Mallela Venkataramana Murthy on the issue.
