Kakinada, June 23 -- Three construction workers were killed and eight others injured when the Bolero goods van in which they were travelling went out of control and overturned between Vadisaleru and Rangampet on the ADB Road in Rangampeta Mandal, 50kms from here, in the early hours of Tuesday, police said.
The cause of the accident is stated to be the bursting of the rear wheel tyre, police said.
All of them were construction workers belonging to Samalkot and Pithapuram areas and were returning from Kolluru in Bapatla district after completing their work.
The vehicle was also carrying ready mix wall construction material.
