Visakhapatnam, May 1 -- Telugu Desam Party State president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao has welcomed the initiative to feature the achievements of government school students on the front pages of leading newspapers.
The TDP government plans to showcase SSC toppers and other high achievers from government schools in major newspaper advertisements starting from the next academic year.
Rao noted that, for years, such visibility had been largely confined to private and corporate institutions, and the extension of this recognition to students from government schools signals a meaningful shift in priorities.
