Vijayawada, Sept. 3 -- The Andhra Pradesh government has revoked the suspension of two senior IPS officers, Kanthi Rana Tata and Vishal Gunni, who were suspended in September 2024.
Chief Secretary G Sai Prasad issued orders in this regard here today.
Kanthi Rana Tata (RR 2004) was placed under suspension and his suspension was extended up to September 4, 2026. However, after examining the report, sent by the DGP (HoPF), the suspension of Tata was revoked and he is being reinstated, the CS said in the order.
Similarly, the suspension of senior IPS officer Vishal Gunni (RR 2010) was also revoked after examining the report sent by DGP (HoPF) and is being reinstated, the CS said in the order.
