Vijayawada, May 26 -- The parents of Sugali Preeti, a Class 10 student whose death in 2017 triggered a storm, today met former Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and appealed for justice in the brutal rape and murder case of their daughter that took place during the TDP government in 2017.
The parents, Parvathi and Raju Naik, met Jagan Mohan Reddy at the YSRCP central office at Tadepalli, near here on Tuesday.
Expressing deep anguish, they said that even after nine years, justice has not been delivered and alleged that the Chandrababu Naidu-led coalition government is completely neglecting the case.
