Vijayawada, June 23 -- The alleged custodial death of notorious criminal Sai Krishna took a new turn on Tuesday with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials arresting suspended Circle Inspector of Krishna Lanka Police station Nagaraju, who was absconding.
The SIT officials led by IGP Ravi Prakash held Nagaraju at his residence at Singh Nagar this morning and took him to the Command Control Centre, where he was grilled till 6 pm. Later, the officials declared the arrest of Inspector Nagaraju and informed the same to his family members.
It may be mentioned here the 25-year-old Gade Sai Krishna, who was involved in various criminal cases and including rape and murder, was allegedly held by the Krishna Lanka police for interrogation in...
