Vijayawada, Feb. 17 -- The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) will organize a state level chess league in Tirupati which will begin on February 21.
SAAP Vice Chairman and MD and B Bharani, renowned chess player Koneru Humpy and badminton star PV Sindhu unveiled the SAAP League Trophy and mascot.
Speaking on the occasion, SAAP VC B Bharani said that the event, conducted under the guidance of SAAP aims to promote school-level sports across the state, encouraging young talent to participate and excel in various disciplines.
