Narasaraopet, April 7 -- The police have busted a mega inter-state IPL cricket betting racket by arresting six persons here.
DSP Hanumantha Rao told the media here on Tuesday that on a tip off, a police team conducted a raid on a house, located at Ila bazaar here and found the gang organizing cricket betting.
The accused were identified as Sk. Khashim, Sk. Mastan Vali, Pasupuleti Nagaraju, Shika Chakravarthi, Sk. Rafi Jan and Patela Venkateswara Rao.
The police seized Rs 4.58 lakh in cash, one laptop and six mobile phones from them.
