AP: Pandemonium in Legislative Council during debate on adulterated ghee

Vijayawada, March 4 -- Pandemonium broke out in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council on Wednesday during the debate on adulterated ghee supply to hill shrine Tirumala for preparing Laddu prasadam, prompting the Chairman to adjourn the House.

Speaking on the adulterated ghee issue, YSRCP MLC P Chandrasekhar Reddy made accusations against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu which the ruling party members including Ministers objected to.

The Ministers and MLCs hit out at the YSRCP allegations and clarified that the Heritage dairy, owned by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's family, had nothing to do with the adulterated ghee supply to hill shrine Tirumala.
