Vijayawada, Sept. 6 -- The Andhra Pradesh government has once again disappointed employees and pensioners by appointing a new Pay Revision Commission Commissioner after delaying the process for 27 months, YSRCP Employees and Pensioners State Wing president Nalamaaru Chandrasekhar Reddy said.

Addressing the media at the YSRCP Central Office at Tadepalli, near here on Saturday, he questioned what employees would gain from replacing the earlier Commissioner after such a long delay.

He demanded that the government immediately implement its election promise of 30 percent Interim Relief until the new PRC comes into effect. He recalled that the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Government had provided 27 percent Interim Relief.
