Tadepalligudem, Oct. 5 -- MLA and Government Whip Bolisetti Srinivas on Monday assured of protecting the interests of journalists and exhorted the journalists to expose facts in an unbiased manner fearlessly.
The Andhra Pradesh Journalists union for Print and Electronic Media (APJU) State Council meeting was held here. MLA and Government Whip Bolesetti Srinivas attended the meeting as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he regretted that some media organizations have been cooking news as per their whims recently, which is not good journalism at all.
He pointed out that party-owned media organizations are suppressing facts and ignoring news they do not like, adding that some political parties have their own media houses.
