Vijayawada, April 23 -- Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare Minister Savitha on Wednesday levelled serious allegations against former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that recent developments in the state point to a disturbing pattern of violence, intimidation, and attempts to suppress evidence.

Addressing a press conference at the TDP central office, she said the killing of Dastagiri, a member of the Backward Classes community, reflects a larger trend where individuals close to power are "used and discarded" once their utility ends. She alleged that Dastagiri had been closely associated with Jagan Mohan Reddy and was targeted due to internal conflicts linked to illegal assets and political interests.
