Vijayawada, June 14 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Minority community welfare NMD Farooq reaffirmed the government's commitment for the welfare of minorities and the education of students.
The Minister participated in distribution of college allotment certificates to 250 students who qualified in the 'Talim-e-Hunar' talent test. The programme was organized by the State Minority welfare department and the Waqf board.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Farooq said that it is commendable that the Waqf Board has stepped forward to fund the education of minority girls and students from impoverished backgrounds.
