Vijayawada, Aug. 24 -- Andhra Pradesh is set to strengthenits position as a leading renewable energy hub, with global wind energy major Suzlon Group announcing the development of 1,325 MW of new wind projects in Rayadurg constituency of Anantapur district from clean energy majors like Waaree Energy and Tata Power.
As part of this expansion, State Minister for IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh will inaugurate Suzlon's new S144 wind blades at Huliker village in Kanekallu mandal on August 25. The new wind projects are expected to create around 4,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, further strengthening the local renewable energy ecosystem.
