Vijayawada, Aug. 18 -- A massive search operation is on for the eight missing fishermen who ventured out into the sea on August 3.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the search operations here on Tuesday.
Konaseema district Collector Mahesh Kumar said that the fishermen who set sail in a mechanized boat from Odalarevu had not been traced so far. The Coast Guard, search Navy and marine police are carrying out search operations in coordination.
The Collector said that the search operations would continue until the fishermen were traced. A case was registered with the Annavaram police station.
