Machilipatnam, Oct. 17 -- Vijayawada Divisional Manager Mohit Sonakiya has announced that the newly built railway station in the rapidly developing Machilipatnam will be fully functional by next March and some of the problems currently faced by passengers will be resolved.
Speaking at a face-to-face program called 'Rail Jan Samvad' organized with passengers from the town and surrounding villages at the Machilipatnam railway station premises on Saturday, the Divisional Manager said that the difficulties faced by the elderly and the disabled in moving from the first platform to other platforms with luggage will be eliminated by next March.
