AP: Kakinada to be developed as Green city : Joint Collector

Kakinada, Aug. 10 -- Joint Collector Apurva Bharat called upon the people to develop Kakinada city as a green city (Haritha Vanam).

The Joint Collector who is also the Chairman of the district Youth Red Cross committee was speaking to media persons on Monday after launching the plantation programme at the Vivekananda Park under the auspices of District Youth Red Cross and Junior Red Cross.

City MLA Kondababu, Municipal commissioner NVV Satyanarayana , State Red Cross Chairman Yarlagadda Dasaradha Ramarao who also attended as the guest of honour planted the saplings .

They planted big plants almost with a height of eight feet.
