Vijayawada, Feb. 23 -- The state government is positively inclined towards granting clemency to prisoners, Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha said in the Legislative Assembly on Monday.
Introducing the Prisons and Correctional Services (Amendment) Bill in the Assembly during the eighth day of the Budget Session, the Home Minister stated that the government is committed to implementing reforms aimed at the rehabilitation and transformation of inmates.
