Vijayawada, May 29 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar has reaffirmed the government's commitment to stabilize prices of essential commodities.

The Group of Ministers (GoM) led by Civil Supplies Minister Manohar to monitor price stability and market interventions for essential commodities, held its eighth meeting here on Friday. Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav and Agriculture Minister K Atchannaidu are others in the group.

Speaking on this occasion, Minister Manohar stated that he had conducted a review meeting with officials regarding the demand for essential commodities-such as pulses, rice, edible oils, tomatoes, and onions-as well as the prevailing price situation in both retail and wholesale markets.
