Eluru, Jan. 23 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Energy, Gottipati Ravi Kumar has made it clear that the State Government is giving top priority to strengthening power transmission infrastructure to ensure 24x7 reliable and quality power supply across the State, particularly for agriculture and rural areas.

As part of this initiative, the Minister for Energy inaugurated the 132/33 kV Substation on Friday at Dharmajigudem in Lingapalem Mandal of Eluru District, established by APTRANSCO at a project cost of Rs 59.39 crore, to meet the growing power demand of the region and improve voltage regulation.
