Vijayawada, Nov. 2 -- Former Minister and YSR Congress party leader Jogi Ramesh was arrested by the police in his residence at Ibrahimpatnam, near here on Sunday in connection with the spurious liquor brewing case.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) police personnel also arrested the former Minister's close associate Arepalli Ramu. The arrested former Minister and his associate Ramu were taken to the Prohibition & Excise office and were being grilled by the police officials.
