Kurnool, Aug. 25 -- Five persons including three women committed suicide by hanging themselves in Vaddera choultry at shill shrine Srisailam in the district on Tuesday.
DSP Ramanjaneyulu said that the deceased checked in the Vaddera choultry on July 28. As a foul smell emanated from the room, the choultry staff peeped from the window, found the bodies and informed the police.
The deceased were identified as Pallapu Sudhakar (36), his sisters Gogula Aadilakshmi (50), Malleswari (45), Sridevi (33) and nephew Manikanta (15). The deceased belonged to Bathalapalli village of Sri Satya Sai district.
