Vijayawada, Sept. 6 -- YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy today launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of privatising government medical colleges and dismantling Arogyasri health scheme.

In a post on social platform 'X', Jagan Reddy said that from 1923 to 2019, Andhra Pradesh had only 11 government medical colleges (12 with Padmavathi Autonomous). Despite serving as Chief Minister three times, Naidu did not establish even one new government medical college.

During YSRCP's five years, 17 new medical colleges were sanctioned. Out of these, five were already completed with classes started, and admissions were held in one more after elections, he stated, adding that if the coalition had taken forward...
