Visakhapatnam, May 18 -- The Waltair Division of East Coast Railway on Monday launched a campaign to promote sustainable mobility and environmental awareness in line with the Government of India's initiatives on fuel conservation and climate action.
As part of the programme, e-bicycles were handed over to the Waltair Division by Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College to support eco-friendly transportation initiatives.
The e-bicycles were inaugurated by Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), at the DRM Office, Dondaparthi, Visakhapatnam.nam.
Senior railway officials, including K. Rama Rao and K. Pavan Kumar, along with branch officers, supervisors and railway staff, participated in the event.
