Vijayawada, Nov. 4 -- In the wake of the stampede in which nine devotees were killed in Sri Venkateswara temple at Kashibugga in Srikakulam district, Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan directed the officials concerned to take extra precautions to regulate devotees rush in temples.
The Deputy Chief Minister held a video conference with Kakinada district Collector, SP and officials of various departments and reviewed the security measures being implemented in famous temples in Kakinada district.
Speaking on the occasion, he told them that the queue lines should be managed efficiently to regulate crowds, keeping in view the stampede in the Venkateswara temple. All facilities should also be provided to the devotees in the temples, he said....
