Anantapur, Nov. 1 -- The youth who attacked a 10th Class girl student with an electric chainsaw in her classroom at Raptadu village of the district on Saturday, was critically injured in a police encounter on Sunday.
Police said that they got a tip off that Hemanth, who attacked 14-year-old girl student Muduga Gopika in her classroom at ZP High School, was moving suspiciously in a forest area. The accused Hemant had allegedly been harassing the girl for the last few months forcing her to love him.
