Vijayawada, Sept. 25 -- Boulders fell on the ghat road leading to the famous Kanaka Durga temple atop the Indrakeeladri hill but no one was hurt in the incident.
Officials said that huge boulders fell on the ghat road in the wee hours on from the hillock. The ghat road was closed to carry out repairs for the ensuing Dasara festival. As the ghat road was closed as a precautionary measure, no one was injured in the landslip incident, officials said. The landslip took place due to incessant rains for the last two days. The officials heaved a sigh of relief since there is no loss of life or property.
