Vijayawada, Nov. 5 -- Retired IAS officer Binoy Kumar was sworn in as Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) Chairperson on Thursday.
Chief Secretary G Sai Prasad administered the oath. He will serve as APERC chairperson for a five year term.
Binoy Kumar was appointed as APERC Chairperson through Government Order MS 87, issued on November 3.
Chief Secretary Sai Prasad congratulated Kumar by presenting a bouquet. K Vijayanand, Special Chief Secretary to the Energy Department and Special CS to the Chief Minister, along with other officials also congratulated him.
