Vijayawada, Nov. 4 -- Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner (SEC) Anil Chandra Puneetha has said that all arrangements have been made to conduct elections for Zilla Parishad and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTCs) on Thursday.
The SEC held a video conference with the District Collectors and SPs here on Wednesday and reviewed the arrangements. He said that over 2.61 crore voters would cast their vote at 31,460 polling sttations across the state.
"Adequate police security has been provided and arrangements made to monitor the polling through CCTV," the SEC explained.
