Ongole, Jan. 23 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Water Resources Development Nimmala Ramanaidu said on Friday that the 816 meters of lining work in a tunnel of the Veligonda major irrigation project have been completed. The removal of machinery from the tunnel two will begin after getting approvals.
Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu inspected the Veligonda project tunnel works accompanied by the engineers and officials at Veligonda village. He walked into the tunnel for a distance and inspected the lining works and retaining wall works. The officials explained to him that 504 meters of linking works were completed during December and 112 meters during January.
