Ongole, May 15 -- Around 36 passengers, travelling in a private travel bus, had a miraculous escape as the bus caught fire and was completely destroyed at the crossroad at Bhimavaram village of Ulavapadu mandal in Prakasam district on Friday.
Police said that the ill-fated private travel bus was going to Tirupati from Hyderabad. The driver noticed smoke emanating from the engine and stopped the bus.
