Mumbai, Sept. 28 -- Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha, known for films such as "Dus", "Mulk" and "Thappad", has launched a music label, Benaras Beat, through which he plans to release original music outside the world of films.
Sinha said the label was not a sudden decision but an idea he had been carrying for nearly a decade. "There is a very interesting saying that if you want to do something and you don't do anything about it, then it's a dream, and if you want to do something and you do a lot about it, then it's an ambition. "Benaras Beat" was formed in my head and in the office about seven-eight years ago. I love music, so much so that three years back I started learning it.
