Hyderabad, Sept. 15 -- The Australian National University (ANU) and Hyderabad-based Indosol Solar Private Limited have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) and collaboration agreement to accelerate the development and commercial deployment of next-generation Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) silicon solar cell technology.
The partnership, facilitated by the India-Australia Technology Commercialisation Challenge (TCC) Pilot Program, combines ANU's expertise in photovoltaic research with Indosol Solar's giga-scale manufacturing capabilities in Andhra Pradesh, the company said in a release.
