Bengaluru, July 21 -- Indian AI startups are increasingly targeting global markets from day one, with venture capital firm Antler India on Tuesday saying 80 per cent of startups in its US-focused Embark programme have already secured commercial traction in the United States, while half have raised follow-on funding from global investors.

The venture capital firm said the programme reflects a growing shift among Indian founders, particularly in artificial intelligence, to build products for global customers from inception rather than focusing solely on the domestic market.
