Pune, Feb. 12 -- The debates bordering on speculation, over a possible reunification of the two factions of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), have resurfaced following an emotional Facebook post by senior leader Ankush Kakade on Thursday.
Leaders from the NCP (Sharad Pawar) faction have claimed that late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had taken the initiative to reunite the two factions and had even fixed February 12 for an official announcement. Alluding to Ajit Pawar's plan, Kakade considered a Sharad Pawar confidante, wrote: "Dada, you were needed today.
