Chandigarh, Jan. 20 -- Anindita Mitra has assumed charge as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Punjab. Prior to this appointment, she was Administrative Secretary, Department of School Education, Higher Education and Languages, Government of Punjab.
A 2007-batch Indian Administrative Service officer, Mitra brings with her wide administrative experience and institutional knowledge of public governance.
