New Delhi, March 19 -- Anil Ambani will join the probe being conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation on March 19 and 20 in connection with an alleged Rs 2,929.05 crore loan fraud case linked to Reliance Communications, officials said.

A spokesperson for Anil D. Ambani confirmed to UNI that he will appear before the agency in Delhi on March 19 and 20 for questioning in connection with a First Information Report (FIR) filed on the basis of a complaint by the State Bank of India regarding Reliance Communications Ltd.(RCOM).

The case has been registered against him and others.

"The appearance is in furtherance of Ambani's commitment to extend full cooperation in the matter with all agencies," the official told UNI.
