Hyderabad, June 15 -- : Telangana Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Monday said Anganwadi centres are being developed as foundational educational institutions that play a vital role in shaping children's future.

Participating in the "Amma Maata - Anganwadi Baata" programme at Mallepally and Mahatma Gandhi Nagar Anganwadi centres in Hyderabad, the Minister launched a child enrolment drive, conducted Aksharabhyasam for children, distributed uniforms, books and toys, and handed over Vidyarambham certificates to children entering primary school. Nampally MLA Majid Hussain was also present.
