Vijayawada, March 17 -- Stating that the existing LPG stock is sufficient for the next 15 days, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to ensure that there is no scarcity of LPG for hospitals, hostels and temples.

The Chief Minister held a meeting with Chief Secretary Sai Prasad, officials, and representatives of ONGC here on Monday to review LPG supply and availability.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister made it clear that at present, 14,000 metric tonnes of gas stock are available in the State, which is sufficient for the next 15 days. The State is expected to receive more LPG stocks in the coming days, he informed.
