Srinagar, June 5 -- To enhance the safety and security of tourists and pilgrims during the Amarnath Yatra, J&K Police in Anantnag district launched "Pahchan App" - a QR-based mobile application aimed at registering and verifying service providers operating along the Yatra route and key tourist destinations.

Police said the application enables instant, on-spot verification of service providers and creates a secure ecosystem by clearly differentiating registered and verified individuals from unregistered ones.
